  Inverter can be selected by comparing the rating of the inverter and total load that we are planning to connect.
Check the VA rating and total watts supported by the inverter.

Below are the details for Numeric Inverter
Numeric HPH 500 VA can support maximum of 300 Watts.
Numeric HPH 1000 VA can support maximum of 600 Watts.
Numeric HPH 2000 VA can support maximum of 1200 Watts.

eg. Customer wants to connect 3 Fans + 3 Tube Lights + 3 CFL Bulbs + 1 TV
Step 1 : check the total watts of the customer load. Assuming data from the table on the right.

Total Watts
= 3 x 60 + 3 x 40 + 3 x 15 + 1 x 120
= 180 + 120 + 45 + 120
= 465 Watts

Step 2 :So Numreic HPH 1000 VA will be suitable for our purpose.

Now proceed to selecting the battery based on the backup time required.

 

Below table shows the common Watts consumption, Loads may vary please check your manufacturer manual for correct load.
